Find Your Inner Pace

Yoga as a Way of Living. Not a Performance

I work with individuals who are ready to slow down, look inward, and take responsibility for their well‑being. My approach to yoga is personal, grounded, and rooted in time‑tested wisdom, adapted carefully for modern lives. This is not about flexibility, trends, or pushing limits. It is about awareness, functionality, and sustainable balance — on the mat and beyond it.

Welcome

I am Ajay Babbar.

A practitioner, teacher, and mentor in yoga, mindfulness, and conscious movement.
Over the years, my work has evolved from large public classes to a quieter, more intentional format: private sessions, small groups, workshops, and retreats.

This shift came from lived experience — my own physical challenges, emotional transitions, and continuous study with teachers across classical and contemporary lineages.

Yoga, as I understand and teach it, is not something you add to life. It is something you learn to live through.

A Functional & Classical Approach

Yoga today is often misunderstood — either reduced to physical exercise or placed beyond reach as something mystical and impractical. I stand somewhere else. My work is grounded in classical texts such as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Bhagavad Gita, and Hatha Yoga Pradipika, yet expressed in a language that fits contemporary life. I call this the CAT Approach — Classical, Authentic, Traditional — combined with simplicity, functionality, and application. Yoga must adapt to the person, not the other way around.

A Quiet Beginning

Transformation does not arrive dramatically. It begins with awareness, and the willingness to meet yourself honestly. This work is an invitation to do just that.

Body and Breath as Teachers

Movement and breath are not tools to control the body — they are ways to listen to it. My teachings integrate:
  • Conscious movement rooted in Hatha Yoga
  • Functional mobility influenced by Yin Yoga
  • Breath practices that support nervous system regulation and mental clarity

This fusion — what I refer to as Hatha Yoga with a Yin Attitude — respects structure while allowing space, individuality, and adaptation.

What Our Clients Say

Client Testimonials

Hear from those who have transformed their lives.

I’ve maintained a fitness-oriented lifestyle for nearly 30 years and recently sought an offline studio to replace my online classes. I stumbled upon Sound of Om (run by Ajay and Sapna) and decided to try it.
The moment you step inside, you’re struck by the spectacular, thoughtful design of the space—it exudes a calm, welcoming vibe unlike anywhere else I’ve been. Ajay and Sapna truly listened to my needs and customized workshop-style sessions, equipping me with practical tools (some familiar reinforcements, others brand new) to advance my journey. Ajay’s varied explanations of yoga and the deliberate pace make it easy to embrace as a lifestyle, not just exercise.

Gaurav Monga

Finance Professional , Gurgaon ( India )

I had my first yoga experience in India with this teacher. The teacher not only taught me yoga asanas but also shared life advice based on yoga philosophy and showed deep empathy for the hardships I had faced. I felt that I received everything of yoga from this teacher. Inspired by this, I want to become someone who can heal others like my teacher, and I continue learning every day so that I can share yoga with people.
